Team tactics and features built for 7-a-side managers
From lineup submission to live ratings — a full look at everything iFútbol7 gives team managers to run their squad like a pro.
Building a 7v7 team is part scouting, part diplomacy, and part convincing your friend who "used to play a bit" to come back just for one season.
Every elite 7-a-side squad has three things: a keeper who distributes well (the pitch is small enough that a kick from goal can start a counter-attack), at least one player who presses relentlessly, and a single playmaker who slows the game down when needed.
In a group of seven, bad chemistry destroys you faster than a talent mismatch. Two players who refuse to overlap, a forward who never tracks back, a defender who hogs the ball — all of it is amplified in the small-sided format. Signing a friend you trust beats signing a stranger who is slightly better.
The classic 3-3-1 formation needs: three defenders who communicate (ideally one is a sweeper-type), a midfield trio with at least one sitting deeper, and a forward who is fast enough to exploit the space behind the last defender. Flexibility matters — everyone rotates in 7-a-side.
The *Arena Pro* format lets team managers submit lineups before kickoff, track individual ratings after each match, and adjust their squad strategy over the season. Think of it as your own tiny version of Football Manager — but the players are real and they will absolutely argue with your decisions.
